Welcome to the Twin City Umpire Association. We provide umpires for baseball and softball and receive some of the best training in the state. What are some advantages to using Twin City to book your school's or league's umpires?
- Expertise - Our umpires are regularly selected to officiate State Playoff Games. We work High School, Little League, Parks and Rec, and local Rec league games.
- Experience - We officiate games in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point and the surrounding Triad area.
- Mechanics - Our training includes scrimmages with some of the best teams in the state as well as "on the field" clinics teaching the best positioning and mechanics for making calls.
- Education - All of our umpires are required to attend at least 60% of our local clinics and a NCHSAA rules clinic. We discuss rules and cases exhaustively to better understand the game.
- Evaluation - We evaluate our umpires to prevent bad habits from developing and to give the teams the best possible games. Our umpires must pass the NFHS test to be eligible to call games.
- Integrity - Our umpires are not on the field because they want a paycheck. They love the game and they will always give you their best effort.
